Make sure your sound is on
If you’re exhausted all day but somehow wide awake at 2, 3, or 4 AM,
you’re not alone.
Maybe you’ve tried melatonin, magnesium, teas, gummies…
and still find yourself staring at the ceiling while the rest of the world is sleeping.
For the longest time, I blamed menopause.
Then my weight started changing. The cravings got stronger.
The brain fog got worse.
I thought these were all separate problems.
Turns out, they may not be.
I came across an interview with a sleep researcher who explained a connection between
deep sleep, brain fog, cravings and metabolism
that I’d never heard before.
And then he introduced something he called the
“Cherry Trick.”
At first, I thought it sounded ridiculous.
But when he explained why it might work,
everything started making a lot more sense.
Why do so many women wake up at 2–4 AM?
Why can you be exhausted but still unable to fall back asleep?
And what does any of this have to do with metabolism?
I watched the interview because
I wanted answers.
You can watch it below.
